During Level I training the participant develops the necessary diving skills, techniques and knowledge required to dive responsibly with a closed circuit rebreather within recreational no-decompression stop limits. In addition to this the user will learn to correctly carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of the unit.

After successful completion, the IART certification will entitle the participant to both dive the model of rebreather that was used during the course and buy a unit or spare parts from the manufacturer.

You find a list of all Level 1 Rebreathers here.

During Level 2 training the participant develops the necessary diving skills, techniques and knowledge required to responsibly perform decompression dives with a closed circuit rebreather.

There are two options for this course:

  1. Option: CCR II Extended Range (Air) Diver - Decompression diving with air as diluent gas to a maximum depth of 50m.
  2. Option: CCR II Extended Range (Normoxic Trimix) Diver - Decompression diving with air and normoxic Trimix as diluent gas to maximum depths of 50m and 60m respectively

You find a list of all Level 2 Rebreathers here.

At Level 3 the participant develops the necessary advanced diving skills, techniques and knowledge required to safely and responsibly perform decompression dives with a closed circuit rebreather using various bottom-gas mixtures (e.g. TRIMIX).

The course prepares the participant to conduct safe and responsible decompression dives with Trimix to a maximum depth of 90m.
